Return Policy:

Jahne Du Plessis Interiors does not object to exchanging or refunding items which you found do not fit, was not what you ordered or was faulty or damaged upon receipt. We regret no refunds or exchanges on custom made items.

In terms of section 44 of the ECTA, you have a 7 day cooling off or cancellation period during which you may return goods to us.  In the event that you do return the product, you will be liable for the return courier fees.

 Refund and costs for products purchased:

We know there may be circumstances in which you will want to return your purchase, so

in terms of Section 44 of the ETCA, you may cancel the transaction within 7 days of receipt of the goods.

It is your responsibility to ensure that we receive such notification of cancellation within 7 days of you receiving the ordered goods.

You need to arrange the return of the goods by means of door to door courier.

Jahne Du Plessis Interiors recommends that you use a courier service with 24 hour tracking facilities for all returns.

Should you choose to use a courier that does not offer a tracking facility and the goods are lost, then no refund or return will be considered.

You will be expected to carry the courier cost for the return.

Merchandise must be returned within 7 working days of receipt.

Merchandise must be in the original packaging.

Merchandise must not have been used or damaged.

Merchandise must be accompanied by a return form (obtainable from us).

Merchandise must be accompanied by a copy of the original invoice (make sure you keep a copy), along with any free gift you may have received with it.

Jahne Du Plessis Interiors will not be held responsible for items that are damaged in transit or not insured before being sent to us.

Jahne Du Plessis Interiors will give you a full refund once the goods have been received back in good order. Please note that refund payment will only be made within 5-20 working days after all documentation has been approved and received.

Defective/damaged products:

You should refuse to accept delivery of any product which is visibly damaged, and if you only discover the damage after the courier has left, then you must report is to Jahne Du Plessis interiors within 24 hours. If only reported after 24 hours, it is reasonable for Jahne Du Plessis Interiors or its suppliers to determine that the damage was caused post-delivery.

Please notify Jahne Du Plessis Interiors within 24 hours of receipt of goods, and we will arrange to have the product collected from you, and have it exchanged as soon as possible.

Jahne Du Plessis Interiors will check all items returned as damaged or defective. In the event we find no fault, we reserve the right to recharge you for the item/s and to recover our fees and expenses from you.

Incorrect Product delivered:

If the incorrect Product is delivered to you by mistake (i.e. it is not the Product you purchased), please do not remove the Product from its original packaging, open or use the Product in any way. Please promptly email info@jdpinteriors.co.za to notify thereof, so that we can resolve the mistake by arranging to collect such Product from you and deliver the correct Product to you, as quickly as possible.

Please contact us within 24 hours of receipt of incorrectly delivered product.

Stock availability and out of stock orders

It may occasionally happen that we temporarily run out of stock of a particular item.  In the event that you do order an item that is out of stock, we will contact you and you may elect to either cancel the order, select an alternative product, or wait until the item is in stock again. Your order will be placed on a "Back order" status.

We will process the order and despatch it as soon as we have stock again.

You may pay for the order up front to ensure the item is secured for you.


We have done our best to display the colours of our products as accurately as possible on our website.  However, the colour of each product may vary between computer monitors and the exact colour, as seen on your monitor cannot be guaranteed.

Privacy Policy

Jahne Du Plessis Interiors vows to protect your privacy.

When registering at Jahne Du Plessis Interiors, we will ask you to provide your name, email address, billing address, delivery address, and telephone number.

This information is essential for the processing of your order and to keep you posted on the status of your order.

You may rest assured that Jahne Du Plessis Interiors will not divulge any customer information to third parties under any circumstances.


When purchasing goods at Jahne Du Plessis Interiors, payment can be made by means of Credit Card, Electronic Transfer or Direct Deposit, Mobicred- which is a credit facility or with our Lay-Buy service.

All above deposit methods are subject to a clearing period.

When paying by means of Direct Deposit or Electronic Transfer, Jahne Du Plessis Interiors will only process your order once confirmation of payment has been received. Please make sure to email the proof of payment to admin@jdpinteriors.co.za

Orders will only be processed once we receive proof of payment.


Whilst every effort will be made to ensure that your order is ready for collection/delivery as soon as possible, please allow anything from 5 & up to 25 working days (after receiving a "Processed" email), for delivery.

Jahne Du Plessis Interiors relies on suppliers and delivery agencies for the distribution of our products and cannot be held responsible for late delivery for reasons beyond our control.

We cannot deliver to PO Box numbers so please ensure that your address details are correct (8am-5pm, Mon-Fri address). 

 If the courier is not able to deliver due to incorrect information given or recipient not been available to receive goods, a redelivery fee will be charged to the recipient by Jahne Du Plessis Interiors.

You will be provided with a tracking number upon dispatch of your order (when receiving a "Shipped" email) to enable you to track your parcel(s).

Courier charges are subject to change without notification.

Cancellation of orders:

Cancellation of orders placed and paid for, but not despatched, will be refunded less an administration fee of R60.00.

If the goods have been despatched, but not delivered, we will refund less shipping cost as well as R60.00 to cover administration and courier charges.


While Jahne Du Plessis Interiors will make every effort to ensure that prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur.  If we discover an error in the price of products you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it.  If you cancel your order and you have already paid for the items, you will receive a full refund within 5 to 20 working days.


In the event of any dispute of any nature whatsoever arising between the parties on any matter provided for in, or arising out of this agreement, such a dispute shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in terms of the expedited rules of the Arbitration Foundation of South Africa.


Neither Jahne Du Plessis Interiors nor any of its agents, or representatives shall be liable for any damage, loss or liability of whatsoever nature arising from the use or inability to use any product sold on this web site.
